In response to Chief of Staff Ashkenazi’s remarks that draft dodgers must once again feel shame, Likud candidate Moshe Feiglin asks how it is possible to ask young Israelis to endanger their lives fighting terrorists and then to subsequently release them so that they can murder once again. The IDF must define Israel’s enemies and its goal to completely defeat them as a prelude to actualizing Israel’s full sovereignty over its land. That is the way to restore young people’s motivation to fight in the army and their pride in themselves and their country.
